  This experience brought to mind the old story "The Emperor's New Clothes". Having experienced many degustations and fine dining restaurants in Australia and abroad, this was by FAR the worst experience to date. I ate with 7 other friends who also are no stranger to fine dining from all around the world and all agreed that we absolutely wasted our money. The sommelier knew absolutely nothing about wine. The service ranged from average at best to down right rude and disorganised. The food itself was abhorrent. One of the worst dishes - burnt grape with skim milk was as interesting as it sounds. Even the burnt grapes were burnt inconsistently, with some as hard as olive pits and inedible. Sadly this restaurant seems like it once was great but with many of the original minds responsible for its reputation having left, it seems to now survive on reputation and the wallet of people who don't know any better or dare not to make a fuss on a nice evening. The only thing stopping us from walking out was the fact that we wanted to avoid conflict on an otherwise pleasant evening for an important life event.

  Visited 18.3.17 with my 2 daughters for birthday celebration for myself and one daughter. Food heaven. A menu that was faultless. Service impeccable, friendly and classy and respectful. Stunning views. Hands down the most extraordinary dining experience I have had. Perfect for the special occasion that it was. I was suffering from some back pain following an injury and was squirming in my chair and attempting to do what I could to give my back some extra support. The female wait staff who was looking after our table just came and slipped a cushion in behind my back with no words, no fuss - just pure class.

  I normally don't write reviews.. however this was definitely the worse degustation that I've experienced. $150 per person - with one course being JUST prawn heads (eh hello where is the rest of the prawn??). Some course sounds very interesting however didn't taste good at all, was more like butter chicken Ice cream without the chicken. Even though service was good but would not recommend to anyone going on a date or for a special occasion. Definitely not worth it and VERY DISAPPOINTING. Will never go back.
